On Monday, AGC of Oklahoma - Building Chapter partnered with Tulsa Public Schools and Tulsa Tech for our annual Educate the Educators program.

Teachers and counselors spent the morning visiting local construction job sites and connecting with industry professionals. The day wrapped up with lunch and a panel discussion focused on workforce needs and career opportunities in commercial construction.

On Monday AGC of Oklahoma - Building Chapter took part in the Oklahoma ACTE Summit.

It was great getting to talk and catch up with our NCCER instructors, and talk to other career tech teachers about how to get involved in our industry. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

Yesterday, AGC of Oklahoma - Building Chapter alongside Oklahoma City Public Schools hosted their annual Educate the Educators event. The initiative of this program is to help build the workforce pipeline of the commercial construction industry.

Teachers and counselors were broken down into groups and toured one of eight job sites. Not only did they get to tour some amazing projects, but they got to meet and hear from industry leaders.

We rounded off the day with a lunch and panel. The panel talked on how they got into the construction industry, the failures they over came, and gave words of advice to the teachers on how to get students engaged in our industry.

Yesterday, the AGC of Oklahoma - Building Chapter's Board of Directors and the Construction Leadership Council - AGC of Oklahoma's (CLC) Board enjoyed an afternoon of networking, collaboration, and connection.

Bringing together current industry leaders and the next generation of construction professionals creates valuable opportunities to share ideas, strengthen relationships, and continue building a stronger future for Oklahoma's commercial construction industry.

Thank you to everyone who braved the rain to join us at yesterday's AGC of Oklahoma - Building Chapter's June Luncheon.

Guests heard from an architect panel with Katie Tillery-Merk with Green Acorn LLC, and Michelle Bergwall with GH2 Architects LLC. The panel talked on the trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping the commercial construction industry in Tulsa and across Northeast Oklahoma.
