IDT is volunteering their time and resources to collaborate with OAO for another fundraiser self defence workshop, this time over edged weapons.

“The Inclusive Defense Training Edged Weapons class is an introductory course designed to give people who choose not to carry a pistol a viable defensive option or give those who normally carry a concealed pistol an alternate defense option if they venture into areas where carrying their pistols is illegal or impractical.” - IDT website

At our last event, we raised $1,100 for families in need in Gaza. Join us at this class by contributing $100 to one of the three campaigns we are supporting.

📢 MARCH FOR HUMANITY: SAVE GAZA

Join Oklahomans Against Occupation in demanding an immediate end to the ongoing genocide and the deliberate starvation of more than two million Palestinians in Gaza.

The event begins at 10:00 AM with a gathering in the park, followed by a peaceful march through downtown Tulsa. Participants will then return to the park for a rally featuring powerful speakers, calls to action, and opportunities to engage in sustained advocacy.

🎤 Speakers include:
• Talal Ali Khan, MD – Consultant Nephrologist, Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at OU, who volunteered on medical missions in Gaza with the Palestinian-American Medical Association, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations
• Mr. Houssam Elsoueissi – Son of Nakba survivors, Palestinian refugee, business owner of over 30 years, and prominent member of the Islamic Society of Tulsa
• Onikah Asamoa-Caesar – Owner of Fulton Street Books & Coffee
• Brittany McKane – Citizen of the Mvskoke (Creek) Nation, community organizer for Native youth, Indigenous rights advocate
• Vivian Jaber – Palestinian organizer with Oklahomans Against Occupation
• Erica Watkins – U.S. Army Veteran, public education activist, and candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives for Oklahoma’s 1st congressional district

FREE MAHMOUD KHALIL

On March 8, 2025, Mahmoud Khalil—a Columbia University graduate student and outspoken Palestinian rights activist—was forcibly detained by ICE in what his wife calls a kidnapping. His arrest, executed without a warrant, is a blatant attack on free speech and political dissent.

Oklahoma City protesters gathered at Scissortail Park to demand his immediate release and denounce this escalation of political repression. The fight for Palestine cannot be silenced. We stand in unwavering solidarity.
