AAIP Cross Cultural Medicine 2026 🪶🩺
April 24 and 25, 2026
📍Hotel Albuquerque New Mexico
This immersive 2-day gathering brings together the wisdom of traditional Native healing practices and the tools of modern medicine in a shared space of learning, respect, and renewal. Rooted in communities that have stewarded health and balance on this land for millennia, the conference creates a bridge between ancestral knowledge and emerging medical practitioners.

Participants—including knowledge keepers, healthcare professionals, and medical students and residents —will engage in hands-on workshops, dialogue circles, and experiential learning. The program centers on herbal medicine, spiritual wellness, community-based care, and culturally grounded approaches to healing.

Through guided teachings, plant-based practices, and conversations led by respected Indigenous leaders and clinicians, attendees will explore how holistic health systems can inform and strengthen care in communities today. The weekend is designed not just as a learning experience, but as a space for relationship-building, humility, and the honoring of Indigenous ways of knowing.
