We had a wonderful turnout for dinner during Terry Carbonell’s visit, and it was truly an evening to remember. Our group came together to share experiences, compare flight notes, and talked through strategies that will help strengthen our chapter and support our members in the months ahead.
Terry brought her trademark energy, insight, and encouragement, and the conversation flowed easily from flying stories to future planning. It was inspiring to hear everyone’s perspectives and to see how committed our members are to growing opportunities for women in aviation across Oklahoma.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Terry’s visit such a success.

Our chapter is truly at its best when we gather, connect, and look forward together!

Congratulations, OK Chapter 99 Macee! Clear skies and tailwinds as you soar toward your next phase of flight.

⭐️✈️Congratulations to Macee McNeff, the ODAA 2026 Aerospace Student of the Year! Macee is a recent graduate of the Mustang Aeronautics program and a Valedictorian of Mustang’s Class of 2026. Macee is a student pilot and was honored to receive the AOPA You Can Fly High School Scholarship, a highly competitive national award that allowed her to continue her flight training while in high school. Macee was also the president of the Mustang FFA. Through her convergence of service in both agriculture and aeronautics, Macee has demonstrated passion for hands-on work and involvement that she believes has equipped her to thrive in the aviation industry. This year Macee was accepted to both Oklahoma State University’s and Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s professional pilot programs. She has decided to attend SEOSU where she was also a recipient of the prestigious John Massey Leadership Scholarship. Macee is committing to Southeastern’s professional pilot program with the ultimate goal of becoming a commercial pilot. Congratulations, Macee! The Oklahoma Aerospace community salutes you!

Oklahoma Chapter 99s member Izzy Kearney has earned a Master of Science in Aerospace Administration and Logistics from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Bravo, Izzy!!!

Cyndi Ice did some promoting for our OK chapter and Bucks this morning at Sundance for the EAA chapter 24 “So you want to fly” event. There were over 21 in attendance 5 of whom were women.
