Members from OKC 10-1 made the trek from Oklahoma City to Syracuse, NY for the 2026 CVMA National Convention. During the trip, we visited all sorts of stops along the way, including Niagara Falls, The Yuengling Brewery, Penn State, 9/11 Memorial, Flight 93 Memorial, Buffalo Trace Distillery, and made side trips to Boston and the state of Maine for a Lobster Roll. We also had several members complete “Finish The Mission” on this trip (1,000 miles in under 24hrs). This was one for the record books!

As most people are heading to the lake today or firing up the grill and hanging out with family and friends, today is about remembering those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our great country. God bless those brave souls and our Gold Star Families!! They have paved the way for all of us and will never be forgotten.

Chapter 10-1 had 16 bikes roll out for the April Camaraderie Ride! We ended up at Indian of OKC where they cooked burgers and dogs for us! Then we walked down to the Side Car Bar for a cold snack.

***Update***

Looking for help!! Chapter 10-1 has a 100% disabled vet who is in some dire need of electrical work at his home in Jones. OG&E says his meter needs to be reset and also needs some work done on his panel. I do not know the extent at this time, but if anyone is willing to help out a Vietnam Vet, please respond here.

***We truly appreciate all the support and replies. We have been able to make contact with some electricians and are awaiting quotes to have the work completed!
