Oklahoma City Handbell Ensemble By performing in a variety of venues, the ensemble has been able to explore a wide variety of music from sacred, secular, classical and popular styles.

The Oklahoma City Handbell Ensemble originated in January, 2008, when ringers in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area felt the need to expand their abilities and help further the art of handbell ringing. Many of our members ring in their church’s handbell choir, so there is an emphasis on ecumenical Christian principles. The Ensemble performs on five octaves (61 notes) of Schulmerich handbells and five octaves (61 notes) of Schulmerich MelodyChime® Instruments and Malmark Choirchimes® Instruments.
