What an incredible week with the Share His Light Mission Team!

Thank you for walking alongside our Hope for Honduras family, investing in our students by introducing them to AI implementation in websites, and serving our communities with such joyful hearts.

Your love for Christ was evident in everything you did. Whether you were teaching our students, working with our staff, spending time with the children, or lending a helping hand wherever it was needed, you reflected His love.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus in Honduras. We are so grateful for the time we shared together and for the impact you have made in the lives of our students, families, and staff.

May God bless each of you abundantly, and we hope to see you again soon!

This week brought unexpected challenges, and we are so grateful that the Michalsky-Clark Family & Friends Mission Team walked alongside our Hope family with love and prayer. Thank you for your friendship, your servant hearts, and for being such a blessing to us this week. We are thankful for each of you!

On Monday, July 20, our Hope for Honduras family lost a beloved friend, coworker, and brother in Christ far too soon.

Josue Emmanuel Silva Flores tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident. At just 24 years old, his life was full of promise. Josue faithfully served as a valued member of our building staff and was looking forward to beginning a new chapter that very day as he started college, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design. He had a servant's heart, a kind spirit, and a smile that brought joy to those around him. His dedication, humility, and love for others left a lasting impact on our ministry and on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our hearts are deeply broken for Josue's family, his friends, and our entire Hope community. There are no words that can fully express the pain of such a sudden and profound loss.

Yet even in our grief, we hold firmly to the hope we have in Christ. Josue knew and loved the Lord, and his family finds comfort in the assurance that he is now at peace in His presence. We rejoice in God's promise that he is resting in the eternal peace of our Savior.

Please join us in praying for Josue's family and for our Hope for Honduras staff as we walk through this difficult time together. May God surround each of them with His peace, strength, and unfailing love, and may He give us all the grace to cherish the memories Josue leaves behind.

Today we celebrate 250 years of American independence.

As we reflect on this historic milestone, we are grateful for the countless men and women who have served and sacrificed to preserve the blessings of liberty. Most of all, we thank God for His faithfulness throughout the generations.

From all of us at Hope for Honduras, thank you to everyone who continues to use the blessings God has given to serve others and share the love of Christ around the world.
