If you attended, and are missing an item, I have several items in lost and found, including water bottles, tripods, a sweatshirt, a crate, and miscellaneous things. I also have a woman's ring that was turned in. Please message Gayle McNish if you are missing any of these items and describe the item to claim it.

Red Dirt Agility Club will host a Fun Run on Thursday, January 8, at the Canadian Valley Expo Center in El Reno. Everyone is welcome, but for those of you with Novice dogs, we do ask that your dog be familiar with and safe to perform all equipment.

There will be two rounds: Round 1 will begin at 4:00 p.m., and Round 2 will begin 15 minutes after the end of Round 1, but no earlier than 5:00 p.m. All runs must be completed by 7:00 p.m. Each dog may run a total of 2 times, which may consist of two runs in Round 1, two runs in Round 2, or 1 run in each round. Each run is 60 seconds maximum time. You may have a toy in the ring, but it may not be thrown or dragged on the ground. No treats in the ring are allowed. No bi***es in season in the arena please.

Sign-ups for the Fun Run start at 2:30 p.m. and end at 3:45 p.m. for Round 1. Sign-ups for Round 2 will continue until 15 minutes prior to the start of Round 2. The cost is $5.00 per run for non-club members, and free for club members. You must be signed up and paid at least 15 minutes before the round starts. No late sign-ups or payments will be accepted after that time.

Are you coming to the trial this weekend? Do you need some equipment? We will be having a silent auction for some of our used/no longer used equipment. Everything is sold as is and must be taken by the end of the trial on Sunday.

Equipment available:
1 – Teeter
1 – Dog Walk
15 – Jumps
Tunnel Straps in a Tote (probably enough for three tunnels)
24 - weave poles
2 – Triples with wings
2 – Doubles with wings
Sound System and speakers
Numbered cones

Also if you are interested in becoming a member, you need to fill out the application and attend a meeting. We will be having a meeting about 30 minutes after the trial ends on Friday.

The premium for the Red Dirt Club of Oklahoma AKC agility trial January 10-11-12, 2024 in El Reno, OK is available to download on my website www.c2cagility.com. Fun judges to bring in the New Year Linda Syner and Pam Johnson. 2 rings Indoors and heated!! on dirt. Fabulous facility with RV camping at the site. Great news, Home2 Suites in El Reno is offering rooms at 99.00 per night and no pet fee!! Just mention Red Dirt and you will get the rate. Let's fill the hotel and they may just reduce the rate for later dates! Let me know if you have any questions.

Another Red Dirt Trial in the books! There were a lot of celebrations! If I can count - I think 5 Championships were earned. Cheryl Jackson & Vortex - MACH, Valerie Parkman and Wishbone - PACH, Sonia Lachapelle and Angel - PACH, Jim Grantz and Maddie - MACH and Don Harper and Posse - PACH. (And I think all but one of those were firsts!). We gave away more than 80 QQ ribbons and almost that many New Title Ribbons!!

And there were lots of cakes!!! Celebrating Championships earned earlier!!!

Getting excited for the weekend!?! Just wanted to let everyone know if you need help to keep your dogs in great condition over the weekend, we will have two great options.

Dr. Lacey Animal Chiropractic will be with us and Julianna Booth of Canine Care of North Texas will be doing massage as well as PEMF. Look for them both!

The Red Dirt trial starts in two days! We are very excited for this trial and the chance of cooler weather. Welcome to our new trial secretary service, Christie Bower and C2C Agility. We also welcome our judges, Michelle Persian and Anne Lindsley.

Don't forget that you may begin setting up your crates at 11:00 a.m. Prior to 11:00 a.m., the only people who can be in the building besides Soccer City staff are members of the trial committee, the setup/breakdown crew who have signed up on SignUp Genius, the judges, and the trial secretary and her assistants. The trial will begin at 1:00 p.m. Concessions will be available after 11:00 a.m.
