Another Senior Spotlight, here we goo!😍🎉 Ian Wu has graduated from Classen School of Advanced Studies 🎓

Ian has been part of First Serve for an incredible 9 years 🎾 One of his favorite memories is King’s Day during summer camp

Through First Serve, Ian has developed strong teamwork and leadership skills that will continue to guide him in the future

After graduation, he plans to attend Emory University and major in Finance 📈📚

His favorite quote:
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. Stay green.”

Outside of tennis, Ian enjoys cooking, playing spikeball, and volleyball 🍳🏐

Special message from Ian:
“I love each one of you guys and have all made an impact on my life. I love First Serve and will always be a part of the family.” 🥹🤍

And another Senior Spotlight!😍🔥 London Koehn just graduated from Classen SAS 🎓

London has been part of the First Serve family for an incredible 12 years (!!)

One of his favorite memories is competing at regionals his junior year, playing doubles with Lucas 💪🏼

Throughout his time in the program, London has learned an important lesson: losing is part of improvement. That mindset has helped shape his growth both on and off the court

After graduation, London plans to pursue a career in real estate 🏡

His life motto comes from Proverbs 3:5–6:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…”

Outside of tennis, London enjoys motorcycles, cars, and spending time with friends 🏍️🚗

Fun fact/extra note: God is good 🙏

Happy Sunday! It’s Senior Spotlight time!😍🔥 Andreas Markey just graduated from Harding Charter Prep YESTERDAY🎓

Andreas has been part of First Serve OKC since the summer of 2018- 8 years!🎾

One of his favorite memories is playing speed in the garden center during Orange Ball🧡

Through his time in the program, Andreas has seen just how powerful a community can be. He shared that First Serve welcomed him with open arms, even during times when he couldn’t always make it to practice, “proving that First Serve is more than tennis… it’s family” 🤍

After graduation, Andreas plans to attend the University of Oklahoma to study Sports Business 🏈📊

Outside of tennis, Andreas enjoys soccer, watching sports, drawing, refereeing, and playing video games ⚽🎮

Fun fact: He’s traveled to Spain, Costa Rica, and Mexico 🌍✈️

Our last Senior Spotlight of the week!😍🥳 Colten Gellenbeck has just graduated from Putnam City High School 🎓

Colten has been part of First Serve for 2 years 🎾

One of his favorite memories is playing night matches after indoor practices✨

Through his time in the program, Colten has grown both on and off the court, building discipline and preparing for what’s ahead 🫶🏼

After graduation, he plans to join the Air Force while studying psychology at Westminster College 🇺🇸🧠

His favorite quote:
“I do not and will not fear tomorrow because I feel that today has been enough.”

Outside of tennis, Colten enjoys learning about psychology and spending time outdoors fishing or camping 🎣🏕️

Ace Powell has graduated from Putnam City Original! He has been part of First Serve for about 2.5 years 🎾 During his time in the program, he’s developed strong determination 💪

After graduation, Ace plans to pursue a career in firefighting 🚒

His life motto:
“Mind over matter.”

Outside of tennis, Ace plays the cello 🎻

His favorite FS memory is coaching at summer camp🎾🤍

Fun fact: Ace made the North Central Honors Orchestra for the 2024–2025 year👏🔥
