“As a Board we do not have the statutory authority to do a blanket closure of establishments across the state! I have communicated with our Attorney General Representitives & the Governor’s office for clarification on this issue.

Business closures is a decision made by the individual municipalities under these circumstances. The Governor is not exercising his authority to close businesses at this time.
There are numerous counties across the state that do not have any CONVID-19 cases.

We have guidelines on our website:
www.cosmo.ok.gov. We have very specific rules/laws that address safety/sanitation which everyone in this profession should be following daily. We also recommend you follow CDC Guidelines.

Mostly, take care of yourselves & make the decision that is best for you! Stay safe & stay well!

Thanks to everyone who showed up Monday at the Oklahoma State Capitol to rally! The media coverage was great and we loved seeing your posters. We are happy to report that the bills have been stopped for now and many legislators now have a big picture understanding of the issues.
