The Civic Center Music Hall, called the "crown jewel" of the MAPS projects,
was renovated and celebrated a great rededication in 2001. It has been the
gathering place for public events, celebrations, political occasions and
performances since 1937. Long time residents recall fondly the important
milestones in their lives connected to this venerable and beautiful building.
