Today, we had the chance to stop by Little D Gallery and speak with 2024 Wall of Fame honoree Denise Duong.

During our visit, we got to speak with Denise about her and her partner Gabriel Friedman’s new outdoor exhibit, “Formless Matter and Its Devastating Gestures,” located at Campbell Art Park outside Oklahoma Contemporary. The installation opened at the end of last month and will be on view through April 2027. Visitors can enjoy the outdoor installation and explore Oklahoma Contemporary, both of which have free admission.

Little D Gallery is also free to visit and currently features 13 wonderfully talented Oklahoma-based artists, including Denise’s own work, in its summer show. The gallery is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share Denise’s work and encourage everyone to experience these creative spaces this summer!

Last chance to give! There’s still time to join us in honoring Dr. Fred Rhodes’ extraordinary leadership and service to Putnam City Schools by supporting the Rhodes Scholar of Educational Leadership Fund.

This award will recognize exceptional educators who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to the District. This fund will provide a cash award to a recipient upon completion of their Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Recipients must be current employees of Putnam City Schools and have completed at least five years of service.

This campaign serves as a collective tribute from colleagues, alumni, and community members who have been impacted by Dr. Rhodes’ leadership. Together, we can create a lasting legacy that continues to invest in the people who shape the future of Putnam City Schools. 💚

We’re so grateful for the incredible turnout at yesterday’s Community Fair!

It was wonderful to see community members come together for a day of resources, food, giveaways, and connection. We’re especially grateful to , Aarvin Insurance Services , and for their support in helping make this event possible.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, partnered with us, and helped make the day so special. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and look forward to building on this event to make next year even better!

Yesterday was our CAST Community Fair, and it meant so much to see community members excited to be part of the day.

One guest arrived about an hour and a half early to make sure she didn’t miss a moment. She shared that outdoor events like this are always busy and full of things to enjoy.

Thank you to everyone who came out, connected with us, and helped make the day so special!
