Yesterday, the Foundation made the first of several food deliveries coming to our high schools this school year! First stop: Putnam City Academy. 💚

We are so grateful for our partnership with Feed The Children and excited for to be a new Partner Hub recipient. This partnership means more resources and support directly reaching our students throughout the year. 📦🍎

At this year's Convocation, we were proud to announce a special surprise for our five Teacher of the Year finalists!

Thanks to our wonderful community partner Simple Modern, each of these outstanding educators is receiving a $500 Stock Your School classroom grant to help support their students and classrooms for the upcoming school year.

Congratulations to Felicia Reasnor, Renee Cantwell, Jen Evans, Jeremy Scott and Aliza Turner!

Today, we’re excited to share a special message from Simple Modern co-founder and CEO Mike Beckham, a proud Putnam City North High School graduate, celebrating these deserving educators.

Congratulations to Jim Morris, Putnam City High School Class of 1969, on this well-deserved honor. Jim’s lifelong commitment to philanthropy, leadership, and giving back to our community makes him an outstanding addition to the Wall of Fame.

For the past two days, the Putnam City Schools Foundation has been proud to be at Capps Middle School for Putnam City Schools’ New Teacher Academy!

We loved welcoming our newest educators by distributing bags filled with classroom supplies to help them start the school year. Investing in our teachers is one of the many ways we support student success, and we’re honored to serve those who have chosen to make a difference in Putnam City classrooms.

We can’t wait to see everyone again this Friday at Convocation—we’ll have even more goodies to share!

What a weekend! 💚💚

The Putnam City Foundation was proud to support two incredible Back-to-School events that helped students and families start the school year strong.

We kicked off the weekend at the Back-to-School Resource Fair at Western Oaks Middle School , connecting families with valuable school and community resources. Then, we joined our partners at OKCity Center for their Back-to-School Carnival, where families enjoyed free backpacks, school supplies, clothing, lunch, games, and more.

One of the biggest highlights was handing out over 600 children's coats! Thanks to the generous donation from Feed the Children , hundreds of students will head into the school year with a warm coat ready for the cooler months (and we can't wait for them either).

Thank you to our amazing partners, board member Jessica Elliot and District Teacher of the Year Felicia Reasnor for volunteering their time, along with everyone who helped make these events such a success. We can't wait to see our students have an amazing school year! 🍎

We're excited to share City Centers Back-to-School Carnival and help families get ready for the new school year with a day full of fun!

Yesterday, the Putnam City Schools Foundation was proud to attend the Northwest Oklahoma City Chamber's State of Education Address.

We enjoyed hearing Superintendent Dr. Kenny Rodrequez share his vision for the future of Putnam City Schools. The event also featured an outstanding STEM panel highlighting the incredible work happening across our district, including Rollingwood Elementary STEM educator Cathy Wade and Cooper Middle School STEM educator Noël Holtsberg.

Thanks to the generosity of Oklahoma Natural Gas and Putnam City Schools Foundation Board Member Jaclynn Pyle, both educators were surprised with $1,500 classroom grants to continue inspiring the next generation of learners.

The Putnam City Schools Foundation, along with other community partners, will be distributing back-to-school supplies at Western Oaks Middle School on August 1st from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 🎒✏️🍎

We are also excited to announce that we will have children’s coats available in sizes 4 through 16. This event is limited to families within the Putnam City West feeder pattern. We look forward to serving you this weekend!
