From the Ashes OKC We are a homeless ministry meeting the physical needs to build a relationship of trust, so we can lead them to their spiritual need of Jesus.

A huge thank you, shout out and deepest appreciation to our friend's over at Morningstar Storage , in Midwest City, for their beautiful generosity.
Last Tuesday, we ran out of bags to serve food n goodies in, this conveniently; divinley, lined up on a night our friend from Station swung by to serve with us. She happened to have your bags in tow and was happy to distribute them to those in need. God provides. He supplied our need before we even knew we needed it.... Through our friends and thiers. What a beautiful example of his power and what community in connection can do. We see moments that line up like this in the streets often while helping our friends. Will we have enough food? Or containers this week? Somehow, through community and connection, Yahweh provides. This day, it was through our friends from Morningstar and our dear friend Chasity and her donations from Morningstar and other places she travels. Although these moments are seemingly small, these moments are beautiful and monumental to moving forward and helping our friends more effectively, and we wanted to take a moment to appreciate them and thank you. Also, aside from this boss experience of divine connection, we wanna thank you, Morningstar, for allowing us space at your location in Midwest City to store our supplies and donations for our friends.

Last Tuesday, we had a surprise visitor/ volunteer. Our dear friend Chassidy from came down loaded with goodies, supplies, some really cool no rinse body wash, and really saved the day with the bags she brought , contributed by, Storage . Thank you so much for coming down and spending your time and supplies with our unhoused community. We truly appreciate everything you do for the unhoused and struggling members of our community💕🙃

Hello friends, we are reaching out with a call to action! We need food donations for our Thanksgiving dinner for our unhoused friends. We are asking for donations of the following items.

2 ) LG Spirial hams
24) Cans of corn
12) Cans of cream of mushroom soup
10) packages of fried onions
8) packages of cream cheese
40) Cans of gravy
4) LG tubs of butter.

Any of you who may be willing and able to donate, we appreciate your generosity and those who would love to but are not able to, we appreciate your kind thoughts and intentions, we know times are hard right now. We appreciate everything we get from a pair of shoes to a case of water and time spent, we value and appreciate you all. ❤️

We wanna send a huge thank you to our friend Dorrinda, not only for her time when she comes out and volunteers, slinging food like ah pro. But also, for her generous donation of a case of chocolate cake ,green chilies, noodleZ, pumpkin pie, and a fabulous amount of hot cocoa mix! We can't wait to make mealZ fill tummies and chat with our unhoused friends over a cup of hot cocoa. 🥰 You are such an amazing human, and we appreciate you and your time. We are blessed to work with you.

The line wrapped around the parking lot last week, and we can only imagine it will be getting longer in the next coming months. We will be out tonight, serving up pancakes, sausage links, and eggs. Of course, some good Ole H20 and maybe sum sodas. We have some cooler weather clothing and a few blankets to pass out along with some hygiene and feminine hygiene products. If ur lookin for a nice meal and sum community and connection, come see us grab a plate n say hi..
