Congratulations to Caroline Chapman on her first solo today! 🙌
Caroline has been a participant and a volunteer at our Aviation Mini-Camps in the past, and continues to support the Foundation today. We couldn’t be more excited to watch you take over the skies! ✈️

There is no chance at all of containing CAROLINE CHAPMAN’s bright enthusiasm following her successful First Solo. CONGRATULATIONS!

A sunny summer day was the perfect time to enjoy delicious delicacies from Smashed OK food truck. As a special sweet treat, students from Route 66 Flight School organized a bake sale to support the Route 66 Flight School Foundation's Scholarship Fund. We appreciate the efforts of Macee, Christina, Caroline (it was her idea, after all!), and Sophie. Then there's an Extra-Extra Special "Thank You" to Nathan of Smashed OK for saving the day!

Let's keep the fourth fun flowing! C'mon out to Wiley Post Airport this week for Food Truck Friday. This month we feature the popular treats from Callahan's Chicago Hot Dogs. As a special sweet bonus, there will be a bake sale to satisfy that post meal craving, with all cookie proceeds going to the Route 66 Flight School Foundation's Scholarship Fund. See you on Friday!

CONGRATULATIONS to Route 66 Flight School student Macee McNeff who has been named Oklahoma’s AEROSPACE STUDENT of the YEAR by the Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics (ODAA). Just hours before this recognition, Macee graduated from Mustang High School, where she was active in the Aviation Program and ranked in the top 10% of her graduating class. The ODAA Student of the Month in December 2025, Macee will enter Southeastern Oklahoma State University in the autumn, where she will be a scholarship student in aviation. Bravo, Macee!

Christmas is lovely. Independence Day is thrilling. Birthdays are grand. Checkride Day is even better than all that for Route 66 Flight School Foundation Board Member Ted Dockrey after passing his Private Pilot checkride with DPE extraordinaire Mary Blake. CONGRATULATIONS!

CONGRATULATIONS to Foundation friend and benefactor Kyle Maxwell on being acknowledged by the Federal Aviation Administration for 50 years of safe flying. The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award the FAA's highest honor, and is very well-deserved!
