Potts Family Foundation

Potts Family Foundation We are a family foundation, organized as a supporting organization to provide support for sustainable early childhood initiatives and Oklahoma nonprofits.

The Potts Family Foundation has two primary areas of focus. The first area of focus is to increase the effectiveness of organizations in improving their communities. We do so through
The Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. Visit their site at www.oklahomacenterfornonprofits.org to learn more about their work. The second area of focus is supporting long-term economic growth in Oklahoma through early ch

ildhood education. We do so through our Oklahoma Champions for Early Opportunities (OKCEO) program. These two areas of focus are accomplished by means of: education, advocacy, collaboration, and grant-making.

2026 PFF Grantee Spotlight ✨Union Schools Education Foundation

Union Schools Education Foundation (Tulsa) will fund its Pre-K Transition Camp, a critical bridge program that helps its youngest students transition successfully into school with confidence and a well-rounded support system. Pre-K Camp began in 2012 with three schools. It has since expanded to all 13 elementary sites across the district, prioritizing students from underserved communities and those with little or no prior early learning experience. 📚🎒

Many of these students enter school at a disadvantage academically and socially, while their families often face barriers navigating an unfamiliar education system. Pre-K Camp addresses both challenges simultaneously by preparing students for school success and empowering families as active partners in their child’s education. Pre-K Camp immerses students in the routines and expectations of the school day while building foundational academic and social-emotional skills.

At the same time, families gain practical tools and knowledge to support their child’s development at home and successfully navigate the school system.

A very special thank you to Haley Haywood and everyone at Potts Family Foundation! đź’™

It’s hard to believe this journey began just two short years ago. Since then, our Family Resource Center has touched the lives of so many individuals and families in our community.

Marissa pours her heart into every client she serves, going above and beyond to ensure each person’s needs are met with compassion and care. The impact she has made is truly incredible.

None of this would have been possible without the generous funding, partnership, and unwavering support of Potts Family Foundation. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us make a difference every single day. 🫶

2026 PFF Grantee Spotlight ✨ Our Daily Bread Stillwater & Resource Center

Our Daily Bread (Stillwater) will fund Healthy Steps Specialist outreach for Payne County. Families of young children in Payne County and surrounding communities (Drumright, Oilton, and Agra) will be served with these funds.

Having a second Healthy Steps Specialist in Stillwater has enabled that program to stay within the walls of the Stillwater Pediatric Clinic, and also to come to Our Daily Bread and its Cushing Marketplace Satellite to meet families where they are, equip them with information, and follow up for more in-depth questions and concerns.

Cushing itself has no pediatric practitioners. For more than a decade, Payne County has experienced the benefit of one Healthy Steps Specialist, working first through the County Health Department, and then basing out of Stillwater Medical Center Pediatrics. 🍼

Healthy Steps Specialists meet with families to discuss typical development and behaviors, common stressors, and explore strategies to address the family’s and child’s age-based needs, focusing on early childhood. This team approach empowers parents to use the most helpful information, tools and services during this crucial time in their child’s brain development.
