It’s always a pleasure to return home to the Lions Den. A wonderful conversation regarding Student Athletes mental health and development. Thank you (Logan Brown) for the opportunity to speak amongst fellow athletes regarding, Stigma, Exploring Team Roles, Social Determinants of Mental Health and common mental health disorders.

This work is important as it relates to addressing the whole person, athletes development, identity and also alumni relationships. More specifically, improving performance, mindfulness and increasing support off the playing surface.

What a great way to bring in Women in Sports yesterday. S/O to Assistant AD/NIL Keava Soil Cormier for leading this discussion on NIL Education with .

Education, Sports & Mental Health can coincide with one another with the proper approach, planning, and collaborative efforts. In depth, the discussion consisted of NIL Legislation, Brand Development/Marketing, Social Media (No Photos or avi LOL), Financial Literacy (Pay That Money Back for not holding up to the NIL Contract), and ways to engage in the community (allow the world to truly see you for you).

In the process of winning, there is always an opportunity to get better!
