Grateful for time spent at Langston University last week with staff members who are making such a meaningful impact.

We’re continuing to connect with campuses across Oklahoma to share opportunities for single parents pursuing higher education and to help expand access to scholarships and support resources.

Last Saturday, Oklahoma Single Parent Scholarship Program was honored to receive a 2026 ONE Award in the Education category from the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits.

We’re incredibly grateful to the ONE Awards Committee, Commissioners, sponsors, and everyone who made the celebration possible—and congratulations to all of this year’s inspiring honorees. We’re honored to be recognized alongside organizations creating meaningful change across Oklahoma.

This recognition reflects the dedication of our staff, board, volunteers, donors, mentors, community partners, and most importantly, the resilience and determination of the single parents we serve every day.

This award belongs to all of you.

Today, we remember the lives impacted on April 19, 1995 and the strength that continues to shape Oklahoma. With the Thunder starting their playoff run, it’s also a reminder of how this community comes together through service, honor, and kindness.
