Tomorrow, OIDF begins.

For the past several months, our team has been preparing to welcome dancers from across the country and around the world to Oklahoma City for two weeks of training, creativity, and community.

At the heart of that vision is our Artistic Director, Austin Hartel.

A former soloist and co-choreographer with Pilobolus Dance Theater, Fulbright Scholar, and internationally recognized choreographer, Austin has spent his career creating meaningful artistic experiences through performance, education, and collaboration.

His vision for OIDF has always been simple: bring exceptional artists together, challenge dancers to grow, and build a community where everyone belongs.

Tomorrow, that vision comes to life.

A Prix de Lausanne finalist, Royal Ballet School graduate, and former principal dancer, Vincent brings a wealth of international experience to the studio.

Introducing the OIDF Youth Dance Intensive — a one- or two-week immersive summer training experience for dedicated dancers ages 10–14.

Created for young artists ready to grow in a supportive and challenging environment, this new program offers focused daily training in:
• Ballet
• Modern
• African Dance / Dunham Technique
• Jazz

Held as part of the Oklahoma International Dance Festival, dancers will train with outstanding faculty while experiencing the energy of an international artistic community right here in Oklahoma.

Whether preparing for the upcoming dance season or looking for meaningful summer training without leaving the state, this program was designed for serious young dancers ready to deepen their artistry and confidence.
