What a wonderful afternoon we had yesterday with the Memorial United Methodist Church Bonus Years community! Our development team was honored to share stories of impact and provide an update on the many ways Circle of Care is serving children and families across Oklahoma.

We are so thankful for partners like McFarlin UMC whose compassion, generosity, and heart for children help make this work possible.

Last week, we received a special donation of Bibles for our welcome bags from the women of Asbury Tulsa Women in Faith.

We are so grateful for Sarah’s Circle and their hearts to love and serve children in foster care. Thanks to their generosity, children entering a foster home will receive a Bible of their very own.

The news is out! 🎉

Yesterday, Pastor Allen at Cornerstone Fellowship shared some exciting future plans with their congregation, and with those plans came news about the future of a very special place in Circle of Care’s story.

Cornerstone Fellowship is purchasing the front portion of our historic Methodist Children’s Home campus in Tahlequah!

When we first put this property up for sale in 2019, we knew it might be a long process. This campus holds more than buildings and acreage. It holds generations of stories, memories, ministry, and impact. We trusted that, in the right timing, God would bring the right people alongside us for its next chapter.

We are incredibly excited to now be under contract with Cornerstone Fellowship as we move toward closing.

And here’s another important part of the story: Circle of Care isn’t going anywhere.

Even while the property has been for sale, our impact in Tahlequah hasn’t slowed down. In fact, it has grown.

Over the past several years, we have expanded beyond Foster Care and Preparation for Adult Living by adding Counseling and Mental Health Services, Parent to Parent, and Fathers Empowered. Today, this campus isn’t just a place where we serve children. We are serving parents, families, and members of the community, and we’re excited about what comes next.

As part of this transition, Circle of Care will retain a portion of our original campus and plans to build new facilities designed specifically to meet the needs of the children and families we serve today and into the future.

There are still details to work through, and we’ll share more later. But today, we get to celebrate.

We are forever grateful for the heritage and history of this campus and for all those who have been part of its story. We’re also genuinely excited to see Cornerstone Fellowship steward this special place and continue using it to make an impact for the Kingdom of God.

A historic campus. A new chapter. Two ministries looking toward the future with excitement and expectation.

God has been faithful to Circle of Care since 1917, and we can’t wait to see what He does next. ❤️

On the first Thursday of every month our entire staff gathers online for TeamCoC Live. It's amazing to hear this crew share stories of the way God is working through their programs and words of support and encouragement with one another.

With 8 programs and 8 different locations across the state, this is a monthly reminder of all the different ways help, healing, and hope is spreading to children and families in Oklahoma.
