Asking all that can help, we need to encourage young leaders to join and become members of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). They don't have to be Latinos/Hispanics to be members. Ages 13 & 1/2 to 18 years old. LULAC has a history of creating leaders and assisting and encouraging these leaders to go on to college. Let's start the new year right! Latinos of OKC. I am asking for your help to encourage Latino/Hispanic youth to join "The League of United Latin American Citizens - LULAC" Youth Council. We have two youth councils - North Council & South Council. The North Youth Council is the one who is in need of youth. Youth north of I-40 can join the North Youth Council and youth south of I-40 join the South Youth Council. Point of contact: Rey Madrid at 405-520-5140. A text is better than a phone call. LULAC Youth Council #11000 is looking for young people ages 13 & 1/2 to 18 years old to join their council. This organization helps youth to learn leadership skills, run meetings, but best of all take responsibility to be able to help others. Many other skills are learned plus help youth to get motivated for college. Text 405-520-5147. They meet on the Northwest Oklahoma City. Youth from other cities are welcome to join.

Meeting starts at 6:00 pm.
Open to Youth ages 13 & 1/2 years old to 18 years old. Whether you are a young man or young lady you're WELCOME.
