Recently, Beautiful Dream Society participated in the International Youth Day activities at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology during freshman orientation!
We were privileged to reach approximately 1,270 students and spread awareness of Human Trafficking in Persons.
Young people, particularly those under 25 years of age in higher education institutions, can face
increased vulnerability to trafficking due to factors such as peer pressure, the search for
opportunities, financial pressures, and online interactions.
During the session, students were equipped with knowledge on:
- What Human Trafficking is and its key elements
- Different forms and types of trafficking
- Red flags to watch out for both online and offline
- How traffickers use deception, manipulation and false opportunities to lure victims
- Available services and support provided by Beautiful Dream Society
- Real-life experiences shared through survivor stories, helping students understand that
trafficking can happen to anyone and often begins with seemingly harmless
opportunities.
Awareness is protection. Knowledge is power.
As young people step into a new chapter of their lives, we encourage them to remain informed,
question suspicious opportunities, protect their personal information, and speak up when something does not feel right.
Together, we can create safer communities where young people are informed, empowered and
less vulnerable to exploitation.
Beautiful Dream Society, working together to prevent human trafficking and protect vulnerable
people.
