Hope in the Midst of Daily Life

In the midst of our busy and often overwhelming days, it’s easy to feel weighed down by everything happening around us. Whether it’s the constant rush, the responsibilities we carry, or even something as simple as sitting in traffic longer than we’d like, the pressures of life can quietly build.

But even in those moments, God is still at work—and if we’re willing to look we can see glimpses of His grace in the most unexpected places.

Recently, I witnessed something that truly encouraged my heart. As a group of students were leaving school, one young man stepped away from the crowd when he noticed someone struggling to cross the street with crutches. Without hesitation, he went over and helped them safely across. What made it so meaningful wasn’t just the act itself, but the spirit in which it was done—gently, willingly, and with genuine compassion. It was a simple moment, but it spoke volumes.

In Luke 18:8, Jesus asks, “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” While that question can feel sobering, moments like this remind us that faith is still alive and growing. We see it in acts of kindness, in willing hearts, and in the quiet ways people choose to love others.

What a blessing it is to know that God is still moving in the hearts of young people. One of those young hearts among us is Geovani Navarro. At just thirteen years old, Geovani has a love for church! He has expressed a desire to learn to play the piano so that he can serve the Lord here at FBC, Corinto. What an encouragement! It reminds us that the seeds of faith are being planted, and God is faithfully bringing growth…there are still hearts ready to receive truth, grow in faith, and be used for His glory.

May we continue to be faithful in what God has called us to do—encouraging, guiding, and investing in the lives around us. The Lord is still working and He graciously allows us to be part of that work.
