This weekend! It's a free chance to come see what it's like to be on a FIRST Tech Challenge team! Students and parents will have a chance to ask questions, and students will rotate through different stations to check out things like building and driving competitive robots, Computer Aided Design and programming. You just need to RSVP on our website (look for "Aug 1 — 7th-8th grade “Try It Out” event" at teamokcrobotics.com)! Come learn about Team OKC and FIRST Tech Challenge!

It was a hot but fun day as our "Summer of Robots" hit the road to showcase STEAM opportunities alongside many other organizations at the Latino Community Development Association’s (LCDA) Back to School Bash.

In addition to the STEAM opportunities offered through our robotics programs, Team OKC also runs a STEAM Volunteer Squad for students interested in promoting and supporting STEAM initiatives across the OKC Metro area.

Our Summer of Robots kept rolling this week with a fun flashback to the FLL Masterpiece season! We are well into summer camp season! Some of our staff members had some snow cone treats after our first two weeks with LCDA Latino Clubs and St Marks Bethany! Now we are getting ready for four more weeks at Oklahoma County 4-H and Edmond Parks & Recreation! There are still a few (but not many) spaces available in the 7th-9th grade camp next week in OKC and the 3rd-6th grade camp on Aug 3-7 in Edmond. teamokcrobotics.com

Space Day and Sally's Night at Science Museum Oklahoma were great! Despite the rain outside (telescopes and clouds don't mix), hundreds of people came and we had a blast sharing our robots with them!
