Thunderbirds - 45th Infantry Division Living Historians

To our supporters - as the federal government has yet to be able to reach a resolution and the government remains shut down the Ft. Smith event is cancelled. The location is a federal historical site and is closed.

We hate to see this as much as you do, it's been an odd summer for events but this is nothing we can control or have any impact on.

Next event is Veteran's Day in Ponca City, OK.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It was with a heavy heart that I must announce the cancellation of this years Fall Century of Warfare. This decision was not made lightly and with the interest of the Fort, the public, and our team and friends, we have decided to close up this September.

We will return again in the Spring and Fall next year, however, and we will be pushing those dates as soon as we can!

I am truly sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I hope to see you next year.

While our event for this weekend got canceled, our remembrance of those who served 81 years ago storming the beaches of France is never canceled .
