“I just have always voted since I turned 18. I went, registered, and I have always voted since then… Why? Well, my dad was in World War II, so I thought it's important to voice your opinion. One way to do that is voting…He was drafted when he was 32, kind of late. But that's how it was.

To me, if you don't decide who's going to be the president or who's going to be your senator, then you have no say so in whether or not we fight a war or don't pay the war. So it may not help, but at least it puts my opinion out there and I decide my part of it… If you don't take responsibility and voice your opinion, you have no say so in what happens.
