April was a very busy month at Just Joy. We have had lots of activities going on and have gotten to see several friends. Along with our regular activities, we got to take a trip to Medicine Park to visit the Aquarium, had our Spring Music Therapy Concert, and delivered drinks to the staff at East Intermediate and the Middle School for our Joyful Giving project. We are all looking forward to competing in the State Special Olympics in a few weeks with our Thunder team. Hope everyone has a great week and May the 4th be with you!

March was a great month at Just Joy. Spent time with our friends at Oxford Springs and the YMCA, had a few visits from some special friends, worked on crafts, enjoyed Music Therapy and enjoyed a much needed week off for Spring Break. Can’t wait to see what adventures we have in April! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and Easter. ✝️

February was full of fun times at Just Joy. Music Therapy, Library, YMCA, Crafts and painting, time at the park, outings for lunch, time with our friends at Oxford Springs, celebrating birthdays, and delivering goodies to our friends at the schools for our Joyful Giving project. We sure love getting to be a part of this wonderful community of Weatherford. If you have any projects or events that you think we could help out with, just reach out to us. We would love to help! Hope everyone enjoys this beautiful weekend!

Our goal for the upcoming year is to enhance our physical fitness. The obstacle is discovering ways to accomplish this without the appearance of exertion. 🤫 Naturally, our main priority is socializing with friends! We extend our best wishes to all for a happy New Year and look forward to the opportunities that await Just Joy in 2026!

December has been an enjoyable month thus far at Just Joy. We have participated in a snowball fight, attended a Christmas storytime at the library, created festive crafts, presented our Christmas program, and thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas party. Hopefully, this week will be less hectic, allowing us to watch some Christmas movies together. I wish everyone a great week!

Just Joy’s Christmas program will be next Tuesday, Dec 9th at 6:00 pm, in the FLC at First Baptist Church. We would love for you to join us for an evening of Christmas Cheer.
