Yesterday, my son and I braved the wind and frozen rain (before it really turned to snow) to hand out some blankets, coats, and food, and also some much-needed hot coffee, to our homeless community here in Norman. I am so thankful to be able to help! I didn’t find too many people out in the elements, THANKFULLY, because they found a warm place to go, but I was able to give out a few hoodies, 8 blankets, some food, and some toiletry items. Anything to help! ❤️❤️

And a HUGE shoutout to my Mom for making SO MANY THINGS!! She made blankets, first aid kits, toiletries, coffee pods, and so many other goodies! Thank you, Mom!! Love you!!

If anyone wants to donate a few items or a whole bunch of items, get ahold of me, and I will personally come pick the items up! We use everything we can get our hands on, like clothing, tents, blankets, sheets, pillows, men’s/women’s underwear, socks, gloves, beanie hats, food, toiletries, shampoo/conditioner, face wash, baby wipes, tampons, hand soap, dish soap, bandaids and q-tips, and anything else you can think of!

This isn’t what we need to be doing! If anyone has ever faced homelessness or has been homeless, this is a counterproductive measure! If you’re homeless, you don’t have the means to pay for an absurd licensing permit!

A new bill filed for this session at the State Capitol would make it mandatory for homeless camps to be properly permitted, like other campgrounds.

We need winter clothes. We need blankets. We need undergarments. We need socks and gloves. Please help if you can. DM me if you can help. I will personally come pick items up. I will wash all clothing and blankets, so no worries to doing it before the hand-off. Please and thank you! 💙💙

As the weather is starting to cool off, we are in desperate need of clothing and coats for our homeless community! We also need warm hats/beanies and gloves. And we need blankets/sheets, socks, undergarments, shoes/boots, pillows, bungee cords, and tarps/tents.

I will personally come get items from you. If any clothing needs washed, I can do that so it’s easier on you to gather and not worry about the items’ cleanliness. It’s a time-saver for you!

Other things we are in need of is non-perishable food items, water bottles or gallons, shampoo/conditioner (even if you have some that there’s only a little left, I will take that too), body wash/bar soap, lotion, hair products such as pump hairspray, gel, leave-in conditioner (nothing aerosolized, though).

I truly appreciate ALL of your donations and help!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Hot coffee and hot cocoa for the people we helped out a couple days ago!! I’ll have to say, they felt so special having a fresh, hot cup o’joe! Talk about refilling the human side 😊❤️😊❤️
