Justin: An Upward Transitions' Client Victory Story:

Justin now has his own permanent form of transportation and is saving money for when he is ready to move out of temporary housing.

Earlier this year, his Pivot case manager referred Justin to Upward Transitions for the new Hope Flyers program, made possible through a partnership with Drop Mobility and funding from United Way of Central Oklahoma's Wayfinder Innovation Grant.

Justin was struggling to get to and from work and to run personal errands and shop for groceries as his bike needed repairs frequently.

Upward Transitions loaned him an electric bike to use free-of-cost so he could go to work and take care of his personal needs while saving money for more reliable, permanent transportation. Within a few months with guidance from his Upward Transitions case manager, he had saved enough to purchase new, reliable transportation of his own and saved additional funds for his future.

Thank you so much to our friends at Dolese Bros. Co. for inviting us each year to your family-friendly event — we always have a blast! This year, $2,575 was raised for our annual fundraising campaign as part of attendee donations for hotdogs.
