NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!

Yesterday's delivery was just another 18 bed push closer to our 1000th bed delivered. The delivery went super smooth. Many appreciative parents.

Even had a few LDS missionaries join us yesterday.

Words from the chapter president: We are just 4 beds away from that milestone for this chapter. I honestly never fathomed the idea that we would be here today as a chapter. Many a time discouragement took over and I felt we wouldnt survive as a chapter.

A huge thank you to all of the sponsors and supporters helping us maintain focus on our mission.

A lot happens between a piece of lumber and a child getting into their own bed.
Volunteers show up.

Boards get cut and sanded.
Beds get built.
Bedding gets gathered.
Trucks get loaded.
And then a team walks into a home and puts it all together.

That’s the part of this mission I never get tired of, because at the end of all that work is a kid who gets to go to sleep somewhere that is finally theirs.

From build day to bedtime, it takes a community.

This minivan has 7 beds stuffed inside for delivery by another chapter.

7 beds in the minivan! New personal record. My copilot thinks we can do 8 next time, I’m willing to try.

WOW!!!!! What an amazing September. BAA with City of Midwest City - Government, a second build and delivery with Memorial Road Church of Christ where we built our 1200th bed to date and helping us push closer to getting almost 1000 beds delivered.

We are now getting a small break with just a delivery and Trunk or Treat with Del City Chamber of Commerce on the 24th.

Thank you to all of the volunteers that helped us get where we are today. Your generosity and support are parmount to our success.
