October is SIDS Awareness Month and at Penny Project, we stand with every parent who has faced this unimaginable loss. Whether your angel’s story is spoken or held silently in your heart, we see you and honor your journey.
This month, remembrance also means action. Our team is heading to D.C. alongside to support the Baby Observation Act (H.R. 2168) - a bill exploring how home-based infant health monitoring could play a role in reducing Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) which includes SIDS.
Here’s how you can join us:
🗣Raise Your Voice – Contact your local reps and ask them to support H.R. 2168.
🤍Share a Name – Add your baby’s name to the Owlet Remembrance Wall traveling to D.C. Submit your baby’s name at the link in bio.
🕯️Wave of Light – Light a candle on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in memory of babies gone too soon. Join us in person in D.C. or tag and they will reshare them to their stories.
Together, we remember. Together, we advocate.
Every name matters. Every story matters.
