🌟 Staff Spotlight: Kaitlin! 🌟

Meet Kaitlin, our Wings Culinary instructor! She has jumped right into life at Wings and hasn’t missed a beat! Even in the midst of busy days, she brings a calm and peaceful presence to the program, encouraging our Members to try new things, build their skills, and discover new interests.

What makes Kaitlin so special is the way she sees our Members. She recognizes their abilities, celebrates their potential, and focuses on all they can accomplish rather than any limitations. Through her love for culinary, Kaitlin is helping our Members grow in confidence, explore new foods, and find joy in the process. What a joy it is to have someone walking alongside our Members like her!🥳

We are truly so grateful to have Kaitlin on the Wings team and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things she continues to bring to our community!🩵

Thanks to so many of you voting for Wings, we won first place at the RED Day Run | Edmond 5K 🏆 this year! This funding will pour right back into our program so our Members can continue to live incredible lives!

We are over the moon to announce that our Executive Director, Cheri Weaver, has been nominated as the Journal Record’s Woman of the Year! 🥳

If you know Cheri, you know she is a humble and dedicated leader who never boasts about her accomplishments. Yet, Wings is the thriving, cohesive, and joyful community it is today because of her willingness to recognize opportunities for growth, find solutions, and continually meet the needs of our Members.

Cheri makes sure our Members are at the forefront of everything we do. She leads with compassion, vision, and a genuine commitment to making Wings the very best it can be. She is an incredible leader, and she will always have our vote! 🩵
