ICYMI: We are implementing new digital message boards to protect our crews in work zones, mounted on the back of our pickup trucks. This upgrade was the result of a concerning pattern on Oklahoma roads: Distracted driving.

No sign, cone, barrel, flashing light or technology can fix inattention.

Remember that any activity that takes the driver’s eyes off the road, hands off the steering wheel, or mind off driving counts as distracted driving and compromises the safety of everyone on the road.

Make safety a priority by staying focused behind the wheel. We can all play a part in the fight to save lives by ending distracted driving.
