(UUIC) is funded by the United States Department of Labor to provide employment and job training opportunities to eligible American Indians and Native Americans who live in Oklahoma County. The UUIC operates under the guidelines of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). WIOA is landmark legislation that is designed to strengthen and improve our nation's public workforce system and h

elp get Americans, including youth and those with significant barriers to employment, into high-quality jobs and careers and help employers hire and retain skilled workers. Occupational Skills Training (OST): Assistance with tuition, books, and fees related to training in high demand occupation areas available thru higher education, state technology centers and community colleges. The emphases is on areas of study that prepare participants to obtain employment upon completion of training. GED: Assistance provided to participants enrolled in a GED program. Support includes assistance with testing and preparation fees, study materials and transportation. Employment Services: Available to participants seeking assistance in obtaining full-time permanent employment. This is achieved thru assisting participants with job search, resume development, interview preparation, career exploration, work based learning, supportive services and job referrals. Youth Program: Offers services to eligible young adults ages 14-24. Each participant will undergo an initial assessment of academic skills, career interests and employment and training needs. Program goals are to provide young adults an opportunity to improve employability skills. Services include assessment, career counseling, training assistance, employment services, work experience, entrepreneurship workshops, GED assistance, etc.

Quapaw Nation Elders Digital Skills Classes | Quick Survey

The upcoming Digital Skills Classes for Quapaw Nation Elders are designed to help participants better understand everyday technology, including phones, the internet, and the Quapaw Nation website.

To help ensure the sessions meet the needs of those attending, we are asking Elders to complete a short survey. Your feedback will help us shape the topics and focus on the skills that will be most useful.

The survey is anonymous and takes less than five minutes to complete.

📦 Big news from the Comanche Nation OKC Outreach Office! We’re moving!

Our team will be relocating to a new space to better serve our tribal members. Because of the move, the OKC Outreach Office will be closed Monday, March 23, and Tuesday, March 24, while we pack up and get settled.

✨ We will reopen and be ready to welcome you on Wednesday, March 25, at our new office!

Thank you for your patience while we make this transition. We are excited for this new chapter and look forward to continuing to serve our tribal members in our new space.
