The Edmond Public Schools Foundation is proud to recognize Aiden Johnson as the recipient of the James T. Rohan Memorial Scholarship!
Established in memory of Jimmy Rohan, a 1993 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School, this scholarship honors his life while celebrating outstanding seniors who continue to make a difference. Made possible by the generosity of Jimmy’s family and friends, this award provides a $5,000 scholarship to support future success.
Aiden shared, “Receiving this scholarship means a lot because it allows me to pursue my goals of helping others while also building a lasting legacy for myself and for those who supported me along the way, including James and the Rohan family.”

The Kenneth D. Lawson Alpha Boys’ Institute was honored to be a guest of NBA Champion Lu Dort at last night’s game. Through Lu Dort’s Foundation, our boys were treated to premium seats, food, shirts, and holiday gift cards. We extend our sincere thanks to Lu Dort for his generosity and hospitality.

Alpha Boys’ Institute extends a special thank you to Bro. Karl Davis for sharing the benefits and challenges of a career as an electrical engineer. He discussed his work designing electronic systems and highlighted several important aircraft he has worked on, including Air Force One. Bro. Davis also explained the coursework required to become an engineer, the strong earning potential in the field, and even spoke about opportunities related to becoming an astronaut.
