Tonight there were 8 Therapy Dog teams that graduated! What a great class and we can't wait to see the dogs out and about getting lots of pets! Congrats to all of the teams. We are so proud that you have joined our group.

The next Therapy Dog class is scheduled to start Sun, Aug 18 at 2:00 pm. If we have a full class we will have an additional class at 3:30 pm. You can sign up by going to our website: newleashinc.org. Click on the 3 little bars towards the top of the page and click on Contact Us. There will be a drop down with the option to click on Enrollment - Therapy Dog Training. Fill that out and we will contact you with more information. The classes are once a week for 5 weeks and the cost is $150 for all 5 classes. We hope you will join us and become a certified Therapy Dog team.

Another great therapy visit, this time with ! These visits are so much fun and the dogs love them. Therapy dogs Hannah, Ripley, Parker, Tabitha and Luna all did such a good job!

It's been a busy couple of weeks! The Therapy Dog teams have been visiting several ladies softball teams. Thanks to all the softball teams that have invited us to visit. The dogs love the visits!

On Friday night, March 22, seven Therapy Dog teams visited with four gymnastics teams, Iowa State, West Virginia, BYU, and Denver. It was a really fun visit and the Therapy dog teams had a great time visiting with the college athletes!

Update: Barbara Lewis' Celebration of Life Party is tonight, Thu, March 6, 2024 from 6-8 pm. It is a come and go celebration and there will be music, wine and a charcuterie board.

It is with deep sorrow that we let everyone know that A New Leash On Life's Founder, Barbara Lewis, passed from this life on Thu, Feb 29, 2024. A Celebration of Life party will be held on Thu, March 7 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bill Merritt Funeral Service, 6201 NW 39 Expressway, Bethany, OK. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to A New Leash On Life, Inc or your favorite animal charity. Details are in the obit listed below. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Congrats to the new Therapy Dog teams! They completed their classes and had their graduation on Feb 18. We can't wait for all of them to start visiting. They are going to be fantastic volunteers!

We're missing 2 of the new teams in the pictures however, but they are just as great!
