Today, our Kappa League young men had the incredible opportunity to log real flight time courtesy of the OU School of Aviation. ♦️✈️

Experiences like these expose our young men to new possibilities, broaden their horizons, and inspire them to reach new heights—both in the air and in life. We are grateful to the OU School of Aviation for investing in the next generation of leaders and helping them see that the sky is truly not the limit.

Shoutout to Kappa League secretary K Jordan James for an outstanding performance on the track!

Jordan brought home 1st place in both the 1500m and 800m, along with a strong 3rd place finish in the 400m, showing true versatility, endurance, and competitive drive.

This kind of performance reflects discipline, consistency, and the mindset of a leader—on and off the track. Proud moment for the team and a powerful example for peers watching what dedication looks like in action. 🏅

Today we proudly recognize an outstanding young man whose hard work, leadership, and dedication continue to set the standard both on and off the field Thomas Welch!

Thomas has built an incredible legacy at Carl Albert High School, earning respect through excellence in academics, athletics, and leadership.

✨ Awards & Honors Include:
• Nomination for the Carl Albert High School Hall of Fame
• Oklahoma Academic Scholar Recognition
• 2× Football State Champion — serving as Team Captain his senior year
• 1× Track & Field State Champion
• Oklahoma 5A-2 Offensive Lineman of the Year

And the journey continues! We are excited to announce that Thomas will be attending Howard University this fall to continue his academic and athletic career.
