A Chance to Change A Chance to Change provides counseling services and programs for addiction and behavioral disorders. If you are in crisis please call 9-11 or the 2-11 Hotline.

We are an Oklahoma nonprofit Facing Mental Health, Addiction & Trauma, Creating Solutions, Celebrating Recovery. Our mission is to offer a chance to change lives affected by addictions and behavioral disorders. A Chance to Change Foundation was established in 1979 as an addiction treatment center, with an emphasis on helping the whole family. A Chance to Change Foundation operates its addiction treatment, prevention, and education programs with the understanding that chemical dependency is a chronic disease that can be treated. ACTC believes that the family is also affected and often best results come from working with the entire family. We understand that substance abuse recovery requires ongoing support, and the agency refers to support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Al-Anon, and others. A Chance to Change counselors can consult with your doctor or other referral source according to your wishes. We provide complete assessments and will offer each client recommendations for the best sources of help for their individual needs. If the client has needs we cannot meet, we will help them find the right level of treatment. We strictly follow all laws and ethical standards for client confidentiality. This site is for educational information and communication purposes. Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Open enrollment begins in November. Is mental health support part of your employee benefits?

Life doesnโ€™t stop when the workday begins. Stress, anxiety, burnout, grief, family challenges and other concerns can affect employees both personally and professionally.

A Chance to Changeโ€™s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) connects employees and members of their household with confidential, professional assessment and referral services, with both in-person and virtual appointments available.

As you prepare for open enrollment, consider adding a benefit designed to support your staff through lifeโ€™s disruptions, big or small.

Our staff is wearing purple today for Purple Thursday ๐Ÿ’œ

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we stand with survivors and help raise awareness of an issue that deeply impacts our Oklahoma communities. With nearly half of Oklahoma women and more than 40% of Oklahoma men experiencing domestic violence in their lifetime, the need for support and awareness is clear.

Together, we wear purple. Together, we stand with survivors. ๐Ÿ’œ

Please join us in welcoming Hunter Holder as the new CEO of A Chance to Change!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma, Hunter brings more than a decade of experience in the mental health and substance use field, most recently serving as Executive Director of Logan Community Services in Guthrie.

This week, we gathered with staff, friends, and Board members to celebrate our CEO, Gina Stafford, as she begins her retirement.

Gina has been an incredible leader, mentor, and advocate for A Chance to Change. Throughout her time with our agency, she has poured her heart into our work, championed our values, and made a meaningful impact on our team and those we serve.

True to who she is, Gina asked that instead of gifts, guests make a donation to our food pantry. Even as she begins this new chapter, she's finding ways to give back and support our clients.

We are grateful for Gina's leadership and dedication. While we'll miss seeing her every day, we're excited for her and all that retirement has in store.

Thank you, Gina, for everything you've done for A Chance to Change. ๐Ÿ’™
