We took a little road trip to our Broken Arrow donor center on Wednesday, where we got to spend some time with TWO of the sweetest members of our BloodHounds team at Our Blood Institute. 🥹 Meet Luka + Dominic. Just the CUTEST.

We are so thankful for this program and the calm it brings to our blood donors while they donate. There is something so special about having these sweet pups there to make the blood donation experience feel a little more comforting. 🤍

And to our girl Jada, who leads this program with her whole heart, we love YOU and everything you are doing !!

Socialmaxxing. 🤍

THE BEST time at Our Blood Institute Annual High School Workshop yesterday. Students from all across the metro came together to learn about legacy, leadership, and how to actually make an impact in their communities. 📢❤️‍🩹 + they got to learn more about being a part of our Social Haus program. 👀 Now we can’t wait to see what they take back to their schools, especially when it comes to getting their communities involved in their school blood drives.

Big thank you to University of Central Oklahoma for hosting us. Proud of this group and excited to see what they do next. Now let’s go save some lives. 💌

Okay, but 117 lives saved because a group of students decided to make a difference? That is the kind of community energy we love. ❣️❣️
 And meet Nitro. 🤎 Our sweet Bloodhound from Amarillo, who spent the day at Bushland High School while students hosted a blood drive. And honestly, having a Bloodhound around while you are donating blood is a pretty sweet experience.
 Huge thank you to the Bushland students and staff. And of course, Nitro, for making the day such a success. 117 lives saved isn’t just a number. It is 117 people, 117 families, and 117 more chances at tomorrow because people took the time to give. Pretty amazing what a little generosity can do. 🥹📢

The new campaign starts now. 🤍 Introducing Dog Days of Summer.

Because here is something you may not know: OBI has volunteer dogs that we call our BloodHounds. While donors are doing the lifesaving work of giving blood, these four-legged volunteers are there to bring a little extra comfort and calm.

We love our girl Brielle.❣️🤍

A true Social Haus standout. She came to us at Our Blood Institute with a clear vision for her senior project, and she more than delivered. She didn’t just complete a project. 🙌🏼 She brought blood drives back to North Rock Creek High School !!! A full academic year of impact and lives changed. A win for her, her school, our organization, and the local patients who depend on it.

And she is just getting started. Brielle is officially part of our forever team. Headed to this fall and staying on with Social Haus. 💻🤭

Smart, driven, and she is going places. We are so proud of YOU, Brielle !!!
