Okay, but 117 lives saved because a group of students decided to make a difference? That is the kind of community energy we love. ❣️❣️
 And meet Nitro. 🤎 Our sweet Bloodhound from Amarillo, who spent the day at Bushland High School while students hosted a blood drive. And honestly, having a Bloodhound around while you are donating blood is a pretty sweet experience.
 Huge thank you to the Bushland students and staff. And of course, Nitro, for making the day such a success. 117 lives saved isn’t just a number. It is 117 people, 117 families, and 117 more chances at tomorrow because people took the time to give. Pretty amazing what a little generosity can do. 🥹📢

The new campaign starts now. 🤍 Introducing Dog Days of Summer.

Because here is something you may not know: OBI has volunteer dogs that we call our BloodHounds. While donors are doing the lifesaving work of giving blood, these four-legged volunteers are there to bring a little extra comfort and calm.

Tomorrow is the day. 🤍

We have been behind the scenes all week getting ready for Boots & Badges, and we cannot wait to spend the day with our OKC community at the Paycom Center.

This day is about celebrating the people who show up for us every day. Our first responders, law enforcement, firefighters, and the incredible people who choose to donate blood and give the gift of life to local patients in need. 🥹❤️‍🩹

We love our girl Brielle.❣️🤍

A true Social Haus standout. She came to us at Our Blood Institute with a clear vision for her senior project, and she more than delivered. She didn’t just complete a project. 🙌🏼 She brought blood drives back to North Rock Creek High School !!! A full academic year of impact and lives changed. A win for her, her school, our organization, and the local patients who depend on it.

And she is just getting started. Brielle is officially part of our forever team. Headed to this fall and staying on with Social Haus. 💻🤭

Smart, driven, and she is going places. We are so proud of YOU, Brielle !!!
