SEPTEMBER is coming, which means it is almost time for the Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz at Mitch Park!

👨🏾‍🔬Starting September 1st, we want YOU to be Citizen Scientists!👩‍🔬 The Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz is an event that gives our community the opportunity to work with Edmond Parks and Recreation to create a snapshot of the variety of wildlife that can be found in Mitch Park during the month of September. HOW can you be a part of this?? It is EASY 🤳

Using iNaturalist, a FREE platform/app, we want you to take pictures of plants, insects and animals to see what wildlife is present in the park during this month and upload them to the Edmond Parks and Recreation Project Page: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/parks-for-pollinators-2025-mitch-park-bioblitz-virtual 🐝🦋This information will help us understand how we can better protect pollinators and other important wildlife in our community 🦋🐝
