**2026 Wolf Run Impact Grant Recipient: Okemos JV Cheer** 💙🤍

Last but certainly not least! 📣

We’re excited to introduce the **last of our inaugural 2026 Wolf Run Impact Grant recipients: Okemos JV Cheer!**

Every strong program starts somewhere.

Okemos JV Cheer is building an important opportunity for our youngest high school students to find their place, develop their skills, and become part of the spirit and tradition of Okemos High School from the moment they arrive.

The Wolf Run Impact Grants celebrate the students, teams, and programs that make Okemos stronger through leadership, creativity, wellness, school spirit, and community engagement. By investing in JV Cheer, we’re helping this up-and-coming program grow into a robust team that gives underclassmen the opportunity to participate, develop as athletes, and build the future of Okemos Cheer.

The Okemos Wolf Run is proud to award Okemos JV Cheer a **$500 Impact Grant** this year — and if we reach **500 registered participants, that grant doubles to $1,000!**

❤️ **Time is running out to help us get there.**

Join us at **Okemos High School Stadium on Saturday, August 29** for a fun, positive morning that brings our community together and showcases the student groups your support is benefiting this year.

📣2026 Wolf Run Impact Grant Recipient: Okemos High School Cheer

School spirit doesn't just happen - it's created by students who bring energy, enthusiasm, and pride to every game, pep rally, and community event. The Okemos Cheer Team helps create the atmosphere that makes our schools feel connected and gives students, families, and fans something to rally around all year long.

We're excited to recognize Okemos High School Cheer as one of the inaugural recipients of the Wolf Run Impact Grants.

Cheerleaders are often the first to celebrate the accomplishments of others, encouraging athletes, entertaining crowds, welcoming families, and representing Okemos with pride both on and off the sidelines. Their leadership, teamwork, and positive spirit help strengthen our school community in ways that extend far beyond competition.

That's exactly what the Wolf Run Impact Grants are designed to support - student organizations that make a lasting impact through leadership, service, school spirit, wellness, creativity, and community engagement.

The Okemos Wolf Run is proud to award the Cheer Team a $500 Impact Grant this year.

❤ But our community can make it even bigger.

If we reach our goal of 500 registered participants for the 2026 Okemos Wolf Run and Walk 5K, every Wolf Run Impact Grant will automatically double from $500 to $1000.

Every registration helps invest in the students who help make Okemos an incredible place to learn, grow, and belong.

🎉2026 Wolf Run Impact Grant Recipient: The Okemos Woof Pack

One of the things that makes Okemos special is the many ways our students, staff, and volunteers work together to build a stronger school community.

We're proud to recognize the Okemos Woof Pack as one of the inaugural recipients of the Wolf Run Impact Grants.

The Okemos Woof Pack's mission is to "motivate, empower, connect, and provide comfort to students and staff" through our district's facility dog program. Whether easing anxiety, supporting students through difficult moments, encouraging positive connections, or helping create a welcoming school environment, the Woof Pack reminds us that community is built through compassion, kindness, and connection.

That mission aligns with the purpose of the Wolf Run Impact Grants - to invest in the people and programs that strengthen Okemos through leadership, service, wellness, school spirit, creativity, and community engagement.

The Okemos Wolf Run is proud to award the Woof Pack a $500 Impact Grant this year.

❤️ But together, we can make it even bigger.

If we reach our community goal of 500 registered participants for the 2026 Okemos Wolf Run 5K, every Wolf Run Impact Grant will automatically double from $500 to $1000.

Every registration is more than signing up for a race - it's an investment in the students, organizations, and programs that make Okemos a place where everyone feels connected and supported.

🏃‍♀️🏃 Register today, invite a friend, and help us turn $500 into $1000 for the Okemos Woof Pack and every 2026 Wolf Run Impact Grant recipient!
