Celebrate Global Running Day with us! 🏃‍♂️ Walking counts, too! 🚶‍♀️

The day was founded to encourage everyone to lead a more active lifestyle — to get moving — TOGETHER!

The trail run/walk immerses you in a mixed forest via a 2.25-mile trail loop through the 100-acre Harris Nature Center and Eastgate Park. After crossing the finish line enjoy some refreshments, too!

See you on Wednesday, June 3 at 6 pm!
— $30 registration
— Kids 10 and under are free!

Proceeds go to the Harris Nature Center Foundation to help fund the Nature Exploration Area expansion and bus scholarships that enable students in Greater Lansing to attend Harris Nature Center educational programs.

We’re incredibly grateful to Consumers Credit Union for their generous $500 sponsorship of our upcoming Motivated by Nature trail run/walk on June 3rd!

Their support is helping cover a portion of our event t-shirt costs—making sure participants can walk (and run!) away with something to remember the day.

Sponsors and in-kind donations make it possible for more of the run registration dollars to go towards building the new Hawk's Nest play feature at the Harris Nature Center. We couldn’t do it without partners like them! Thank you!

If you want to guarantee your shirt don’t forget to register by May 14th!

Check out these generous donors!

Many thanks to the Haslett High School Sustainability Club for selecting the Harris Nature Center Foundation for their can drive last fall. They raised $1,500!!😊

Their donation is helping us get even closer to our fundraising goal to build the new Hawk's Nest play feature at Harris Nature Center.

Haslett Sustainability Club is a student founded, student run, volunteer based club at Haslett High School. They meet to discuss topics including volunteer opportunities, environmental education, and sustainable choices. Their efforts led to the school becoming a green school!
