The idea of bringing the arts and the community together has been an actively enthusiastic movement and desire for years. It's been accomplished through it's community events and with Festivals of the Arts such as Woody Guthrie Days Festival, Arts and Crafts Shows and Festivals. In the past the Okemah Chamber of Commerce, the Okfuskee County Historical Society Museum and active community members

have played a big part o present some the community’s favorite events and performances, through concerts, arts shows. With this the addition of the Art Gallery in the History Center and now the Arts Studio, the motto " All Access Arts" has aims set to teaches Okfuskee County's youngest and oldest whom ever they may be to dance, sing, sculpt, paint, create and interact with professional of their crafts. Arts Studio through the Okfuskee County History Center is a nonprofit 501 (C)(3) organization that is dedicated to bringing the arts and the community together through free or low-cost small/large-scale cultural events and a variety of arts outreach activities that impact the total population. We are proud to expose our community to the full spectrum of art in its many forms. By focusing on teaching, learning, and appreciating the arts, our events and programs help the residents of our city learn to create, experience, express and enjoy art.
