Here is a sneak peak on what we've been up to. New subflooring, repairing old walls and other miscellaneous stuff so this old house will be around for another 100 years. Next step is to rehab the bathroom and then paint, flooring and updating light fixtures. We are able to do things like this because of our volunteers, donors and our Red White and Blue Bbq.

Next project after this (when it's cooler outside) we will be tackling the tank and a few other things in the Veterans park.

Today, on Purple Heart Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our nation.

We owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to these heroes. Their sacrifices remind us that freedom is never free and that the cost of liberty has been paid by some of America's finest.
To every Purple Heart recipient: Thank you for your service, your courage, and your sacrifice. We honor your legacy, we remember those who never came home, and we pledge that your service will never be forgotten.
