The Martin County Sharpshooters 4-H Club members have really dialed in their shots and are shooting consistent groupings. There's a good chance you'll see us at the state match next spring.

When I’m deep in the planning, problem-solving, and constant pursuit of making Martin County 4-H even better, it’s easy to focus on what still needs to be done and forget to look back at how far the journey has come.

Then I remember the kid who once sat in a 4-H meeting, never imagining he’d one day become the 4-H agent leading the program that helped shape him. Sometimes the greatest reminder is that the life you once hoped for is the life you're living now.

Take time to appreciate where you are, celebrate how far you've come, and never lose sight of the excitement that started it all.

We are excited to offer 5 one-day camps this summer! These camps are for youth ages 8-18 years old.

Due to space and staffing limitations, we will only be accepting the first 15 registered campers. We will create a waiting list after those 15 spots have been filled.

Poultry Camp- June 30

Science Camp- July 2

Come discover science with our hands-on camp. We plan to dive into chemistry and physics topics- and you know it's not 4-H unless it's messy!

Videography/Photography Camp- July 7

Campers will learn videography and photography tips and tricks as well as how to create a story board. They will leave camp with a completed video project.

Insect Camp- July 20

Let's discover the insects that live all around us. We will learn about insect biology, pinning, and more through this hands-on camp!

Marine Camp- July 23

Let's explore the aquatic life living in the Indian River Lagoon. We will learn about marine biology, fishing skills, habitat preservation.

The school year may have wrapped up, but we have one more student recognition from our May School Board meeting to share!

After securing the top two team spots at the Treasure Coast Regional MATHCOUNTS competition, students from Hidden Oaks Middle School and Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School advanced to the Florida State MATHCOUNTS Tournament—competing among the best in the state and showcasing exceptional mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.

Congratulations to both teams and their coaches for representing our District with excellence in math! A strong finish to an outstanding year. 💪

Two Martin County 4-H members attended the Florida 4-H Intermediate Leadership (iLEAD) Conference at the University of Florida.

One member helped shape the experience as part of the conference planning committee, while the other participated alongside youth from across the state, developing leadership skills, building new friendships, and discovering new ways to make a positive impact in their communities.

We are proud to see our Martin County 4-H youth stepping up as both leaders and learners!
