Mama H’s Farm for a Better Tomorrow is getting ready to launch upcoming programs—and we need a little help with the “rolling” part!

We’re looking for a donated bumper pull camper to support our work as we grow. This could serve as a mobile office, a cooling space for volunteers, or a central spot for coordinating activities.

🌱 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿: Bumper pull camper

🌱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We’re open to a “diamond in the rough”! A fixer-upper is great as long as it’s structurally sound (solid frame, floor, and roof)

🌱 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲: Supporting the early stages of our programs and helping us build toward our long-term vision

Protecting children takes all of us. Every day, our deputies, emergency services dispatchers, and criminal records clerks play a role in keeping children safe, but we can’t do it alone.

Progress is happening—one step at a time💚

Behind the scenes at Mama H’s Farm, we’ve been hard at work:

✨ Preparing Mama H’s house for sale to help fund our future farm

This season may look like hard work, long days, and big transitions—but it’s all part of building something bigger.

When you grow up with chronic childhood abuse, many of us survive by becoming hyper-independent over-achievers. We become "over-givers" because we learned that our worth was tied to what we could do for others. We told ourselves the trauma made us "strong."

But then, the shift happens.

You start evaluating everything—the people who hurt you, and the "silent" ones who watched and blamed you because "you knew better" than to trigger your abuser by simply having human needs.

Now? The "doing" is gone. The drive is replaced by a desperate need for rest, quiet, and solitude. Our central nervous system is fried. Adult ADHD kicks in, focus is non-existent, and the struggle to do the "adult bare minimum" is a daily mountain.

If you’re in the season of exhaustion after a lifetime of "strength," I see you. It’s okay to finally stop. 🤍

If you would like to help — or if you need help feeding your pets — you are welcome to stop by.

The donation bin is located on the front porch and operates on the honor system:

• Drop off canned or dry pet food donations
• Take what you need for your pets

No forms or sign-ups — just neighbors helping neighbors💛
