Cranberry Area Lions Club

Cranberry Area Lions Club The Cranberry Area Lions Club was chartered on May 8th, 1978. It is affiliated with Lions Clubs International. Members meet twice a month.

It serves portions of the Venango County area, including Oil City, Rockland, Seneca and of course Cranberry. The Cranberry Area Lions Club is a member of Lions Clubs International and was chartered on May 8th, 1978. rwise noted. Meetings are held at Hoss's Steak and Seafood on route 257. We aid a plethora of agencys and groups, including: The Venango County Blind Association, Community Services, Frinds For Food, Salvation Army, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and various local volunteer Fire Departments.

A huge box of Squishmallows just arrived for future Charli’s Comfort Project comfort kits! 🧸✨

These cuddly friends will soon be making their way into the hands of children facing hospital stays, emergency room visits, and other difficult moments.

Seeing Charli’s excitement reminds us why we started this project—to help children feel a little less scared and a little more loved. 💙

Thank you to everyone who has supported Charli’s Comfort Project so far. Because of your generosity, we can continue bringing comfort, courage, and smiles to children in our local hospitals.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our beloved Cranberry Area Lions. Lion Larry Palm went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 5th, 2026 surrounded by his family. Lion Larry was the founder of this area’s Lion Club, as he was very active in our community whether it be helping at events, bringing homemade hats, gloves, scarves to families in need, picking up items for our fundraisers….and so much more,he was always there for his community and family. We are going to miss him very much.
