Oglesby Ex Students Association

Oglesby Ex Students Association We are a community organization that gives back to Oglesby. We have after church luncheons to raise money.

The money we raise is used to give scholarships to graduating seniors, provide a free meal to the community once a year, donate to the school for school supplies, donated to the volunteer fire department, and lots of other projects that may come up during the year.

Funeral services for Travis Melvin "Butch" Goodwin are currently scheduled at Oak Crest Funeral Home on Bosque in Waco with visitation on Tuesday from 6-8p and services at 10a Wednesday. Internment will be Eagle Springs Cemetery.

Time change for Thursday, October 5th Jr High game it will be at 5pm with the Homecoming Parade and Bonfire to follow immediately after the game is over. The High School Homecoming game will be Saturday, October 7th at 7:30 pm with the crowning of the Homecoming Queen before the game at 7pm. Come out and support the Oglesby Tigers this week!

Attention Oglesby community!!! Our Football team has made it to the playoffs and will play Friday against Milford in Valley Mills @7:30. We are having a send off at 4:45 by the gym!!! Please pass the word and everyone is welcome to come cheer them on!!

Oglesby will host Cransfills Gap this Friday for Homecoming. The High School Homecoming Queen will be crowned at 7:00 pm with the game starting at 7:30. Everyone come out and support our Tigers!

The Oglesby Ex-Student Association will host it's 59th annual Homecoming this Friday, October 7, at the Oglesby Community Center. A social time will begin at 4pm prior to the Football Game at 7:30. The center will be open through the game and after if you want to continue to visit. The Oglesby student body and community is welcome to attend. There will be sandwiches, chips and drinks at no charge!

Everyone that graduated from Oglesby, Thursday May 26 we will be having the alumni game in the gym at 6. The cost will be 100 dollars per team. All odds will wear red and all evens will wear white. Ryan McClinton in charge of the odd team and Chad Beechly is in charge of the even team. If anyone has any interest in playing let me know. We will be having a "practice" tomorrow at 6 in the gym for the odds. Regardless if you're playing or just coming to watch if you graduated in an odd number year wear red and if you graduated in an even number wear white.

It is that time of year again for the Annual Lion's Club Rattlesnake Roundup! This weekend February 27-28 2016! Come check out our booth and get a bite to eat. We will be serving Cowboy Stew! Invite your friends and family and come spend the weekend in Oglesby, Texas! Hope to see everyone there!
