Ogema Fire along with mutual aid from Prentice Fire, Prentice Ambulance, Price County Sherriffs Department, Price County Chaplain and Price Electric responded to a fully engulfed structure Fire yesterday mid morning in the township of Ogema. First arriving units found the cabin structure already down with the exception of one partial wall and roughly half of the floor system. Crews searched the structure's debris attempting to locate the property owners 2 dogs that had been in the structure but were unsuccessful. The cabin, contents and vehicle parked nearby were all a complete loss. Cause of fire is under investigation.

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for Price County today from 10 AM until 11 PM. The fire danger is extreme and all burning permits are on hold at this time. Avoid any and all burning and be mindful when doing lawn care as a spark can trigger something much bigger. Be safe today!
