2023 GATEWAY LODGE #29 - WDSA CHARITY SHOOTING MATCH
The Wasatch Defensive Shooters Association (WSDA), Northern Utah's Premier Shooting Club, Presents the 2023 Gateway Lodge Charity Shooting Match.
- Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 8 PM to 6:30 PM
- Wasatch Shooters Association (WSA) Range, located at 1649 E 650 N, Kaysville, UT 84037.
The event is hosted by Gateway Lodge No. 29, Free and Accepted Masons of Clearfield, Utah.
Join us for a great cause! The Charity Match proceeds will be donated to the Gateway Masonic Lodge in Clearfield, Utah, to help those in need in the community. Don't miss this opportunity to have fun on the gun range while making a positive impact in our community!

EVENT STAFF/SAFETY OFFICIALS
Our knowledgeable Masonic Brothers will also be there to guide you, so no need to worry if you're new to Match shooting. You'll also be guided by our sponsor WSDA "RED HATS" Range Safety Officers, who will make sure you're safe. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them. Remember to strictly follow their commands while on the range for your safety.

CHECK-IN
8:00 AM Check-in/Equipment Checks start at the Red Box car just before the parking lot.
-Please check in with the attendant (inside the Red Box car).
**ARRIVE UNLOADED: We kindly request that for safety reasons, all fi****ms are cleared/unloaded, and or empty upon arrival at the range. Let's prioritize safety and ensure a great range day experience for all. Thank you!**
PARKING:
-The parking lot is located in the middle of the range north of the red box car. (If you require assistance, please ask)
(Please do not park north of the flagpole)
MANDATORY SAFETY REVIEW/NEW SHOOTER ORIENTATION
-8:30am Mandatory Safety Review/New Shooter Orientation starts at the Red Box Car.
This is where you will receive detailed information on how the range operates: range safety procedures, range commands, emergency actions, and how matches will occur will also be covered; you will also learn when and how to Load/Unload your weapon.
-9:00am Match starts.
MATCH STRUCTURE
This match is perfect for individuals who have never participated in a competitive shooting match; this will be a low-difficulty match specifically designed to introduce new shooters to the world of competitive shooting.
Attention all Pros, and Novices, you are welcome and encouraged to participate!
This match will introduce shooters to basic instruction for United States Practical Shooters Association (USPSA), International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA), Steel Challenge, and Outlaw Steel Matches.
FI****MS
Requirements for the match are a pistol caliber pistols or pistol caliber carbines (.22, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 Auto).
- Rifles other than .22 may not be shot at this match (it will put holes in the range steel).
HOLSTER
A holster for your pistol of choice and magazine pouches for your magazines are strongly suggested.
If you do not currently have a holster and/or magazine pouches, please ensure that your weapon of choice has a carrying bag or a plastic case (The zip-up style bag is preferred).
MAGAZINES
As magazine capacity is different for each pistol, please bring the requisite number of magazines that will accommodate a minimum of 16 rounds per stage.
NOTE: No stage will be over 16 rounds.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Please arrive with the willingness to practice safe firearm use and handling, as well as:
- Ear protection or Ear Plugs.
- Eye protection. (Prescription glasses, sunglasses, goggles, etc.)
