Good morning!
I think we can all agree that the new parking lot looks great, and we are excited to have it ready for the start of the school year!

There is one repair that needs to be completed near the activity entrance. The repair will begin Friday morning and is expected to be completed by the end of the day Monday, so everything will be ready for students and staff when we open on Tuesday.

To help keep the area clear and allow the work to be completed as quickly as possible, we ask that everyone avoid using Bulldog Drive in front of the building from Friday through Monday.

The main parking lot will still be accessible from the east entrance during this time.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we get the final pieces of the new parking lot completed. We appreciate it!

Our handlers and their dogs spent the summer attending certification training and **successfully passed their certification exams!** 🎓🐶👏

We can’t wait for you to meet these four furry friends and learn more about how they’ll be supporting our students and staff throughout the school year!

Committee Spotlight: Amy Hawcott

Amy Hawcott joined the committee in September 2022 after expressing interest in getting more involved at the Bulldog Ball. Her journey began when she filled out an interest card at the event, which was later passed along by Jessica Siler—connecting Amy with an opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way.

Since then, Amy has become a valued and dedicated member of the team. She plays an important role in securing donations throughout the year and is always willing to lend a hand at the annual Bulldog Ball. Amy also brings a creative spark to the committee, helping develop fun games and fresh ideas that enhance the event experience.

This year, Amy’s creativity truly stood out. She took a donation of 13 books and transformed them into six unique, distinct, and entertaining themed book baskets—each thoughtfully put together and expanded beyond just books to create something truly special.

We’re grateful to have Amy as part of the committee and appreciate the energy, creativity, and commitment she brings to the group.
